This was a BIG budget buster for me.  Now, do keep in mind I have never spent more than $20-$30 for a purse.  The few Coach items that I own were presents from other people.  I've purchased stuff from Coach before but it was always as gifts.

However, when I stopped in here – the Coach factory store, I saw a purse that I had been eyeing the previous Christmas which retailed for $300.  Well, it was on sale for only $130.  Then, on top of that , there was a Memorial Day sale which was an additional 40% off of that price!  I finally caved in and bought an expensive cute purse for myself – you can bet that purse will be carried around EVERYWHERE to make good use of all that $$$ I spent.

I walked into Coach Factory Store thinking I might be able to find a good deal on a new purse.  I WAS WRONG!!!!  I was able to find a great deal on more purses than I could ever imagine.  There were tons of purses I've never seen.  More importantly, they were sale priced.  Then there were tons that were an additional 30% off.  Then there were some that were clearance priced + an extra 30% off.  So I walked around the store with four purses on my arm still looking for more.  Then I saw them open up a box with some "new meat", lol.  There was a gorgeous suede bag calling my name.  So of course I answered.  And then I found out the beauty was being "redlined" which meant it was even cheaper.    It was $80-something for a ~$300 purse.  So I decided to keep one of the other ones on my arm too and ended up walking out of Coach factory store with two purses and paid less for both combined than I expected to spend for one.  YAY FOR ME!!!!!

I love reading and always target to read 4 books a month.  The topics ranges from politics, history, science to comics and cooking.  My work requries me to drive around alot.  I do get stuck in the city jam pretty often.  Instead of wasting time staring at the backside of the car in front of me for hours, I bought a portable ebook reader, the Amazon Kindle 2 from Amazon.  This handheld ebook reader completely changed my life, and the way I use my time.

With this handheld ebook reader, Amazon Kindle 2 in the car, I now enjoy driving, even while stuck in the city jam.  Once I started my car, I will turn on this portable ebook reader and got it to read to me.  Amazon Kindle 2 has this ability to read to you (you just have to select the function “Read to Me”).  It is a new new Text to Speech feature by Amazon Kindle.  The ability by the ebook reader to read to me while I am driving is the best thing next to reading the book myself.  The driving is now more pleasant and enjoyable.  The time is also well spent now with every minute on the road 'reading' the book.

With this portable ebook reader, Amazon Kindle, I am completing about 9 books per month!  Amazon Kindle is my best buy of the year.

As per widely anticipated, Amazon announced the second-generation electronic book reader with Kindle ebook reader II.

Amazon Kindle, the electronic book reader comes with the exclusive Stephen King novel UR today — the page actually went live during the press event. The new version will still cost $359, but it's much thinner than the traditional angular original — in fact, it's thinner than an iPhone at just .36 inches. Perhaps, arguably the biggest new feature of this portable ebook reader is the feature 'Read to Me;, which can read any content on the device back to you in a decent-sounding computerized voice.

This electronic book reader has also seven times more storage, a sharper 16-level e-ink display that turns pages 20 percent faster, 25 percent longer battery life, and a new five-way joystick that improves navigation. Amazon's Whispernet service is also getting a feature bump, adding in Whispersync bookmarking — if you start reading a book on one Kindle, you can always pick up again on any other Kindle automatically. Sadly, it's still only available in white.

Amazon is still working on the international release, but has nothing to announce at this point in time, and wouldn't even confirm a launch this year (2008).  The battery is non-removable.

There will be no Kindle 2-exclusive content, and some of the software improvements will be pushed to the original Kindle — Whispersync is a shoe-in, text-to-speech is a no.

Text-to-speech is a nice touch, but it's still hard to get over that computer voice, at least for me. We can see using this to hear a recipe or short news article, but we're not convinced it'll be enjoyable for a full novel.

Screen refresh is so much more faster than the old model (they say 20 percent). The difference is welcome and noticeable. Moving through documents and back and forth between pages is a snap now. If you've been frustrated with the slowness before, this will be a big relief.

The size difference is pretty remarkable. If you loved the crazy old design, you'll be disappointed, but the tradeoff in thickness is probably worth it. Furthermore, the new button placement is a big improvement, one which will likely make those accidental page turns a thing of the past.

While this niffy electronic book reader does has it litmitation for now, it is still a worthy must have gadget for those who travels alot in the train or car.  The features will make the ride more enjoyable fashionably.

Lonesome, geeky Jiro Kitamura (Keisuke Koide) is lonesome no longer at his birthday party, thanks to a femme cyborg (Haruka Ayase) from the year 2133 who's traveled back to 2007 with his ex-g.f.'s looks and memory chip. (Don't ask.) Virtuoso f/x sequence, in which she drinks a beer and her head literally starts spinning, sets up the comedy for the next few reels, as she helps Jiro and other citizens like some kind of Asian Supergirl.

The story gains some emotional traction as Jiro falls for the cyborg and she suggests they visit his hometown. Alas, it was destroyed in an earthquake, so she arranges a time warp for them to revisit his childhood, on the condition that he touches nothing.

The heart of the movie is back in Tokyo, where the question is raised as to whether, beneath her fixed smile, the cyborg can ever feel Jiro's growing attachment to her. When an earthquake hits Tokyo, it's a question Jiro, rather than she, has to deal with.

Though the central relationship is never as engaging as in local megahit "My Sassy Girl," the pic balances on the same emotional fulcrum of unrequited love beneath surface comedy. Partly thanks to the closing reels' superb visual effects, which pack a dramatic punch without drawing attention to their artifice, the finale (including a brief coda set 61 years later) is genuinely touching.

Koide has the most expressive role, but it's Ayase who holds the screen as the always smiling, beautiful cyborg who may have an emotional circuit board of her own. Technical package, in the hands of an all-Japanese crew, is smooth on all levels. Where "Sassy" had a thoroughly South Korean feel and "Windstruck" a more Hong Kong one, the Japan-shot and -funded "Cyborg" is echt-Nipponese, despite the helmer's nationality.
